To assist in the implementation and development of a comprehensive NDC product for TAP. Candidate will work closely with the NDC technical supplier and assist in the delivery roadmap based on customer needs. Responsible for making sure the product is and remains fit for purpose for our customers, responding and considering feedback from the market accordingly. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable communicating in a technical manner whilst also understanding the commercial drivers for the product.




  1. NDC Implementation
  • Maintain and improve a fit for purpose NDC solution using our technical provider, considering the needs of our key partners;
  • Conduct gap analysis and specify business requirements to the technical provider in order to form end-to-end specifications;
  • Involved in the implementation of a new web booking portal for SME;
  • Coordinate any required internal UAT for distribution platforms;
  • Work with sales and customer teams to monitor and drive NDC performance of our key partner


  1. Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitors the cost and performance of NDC API product;
  • Influence the roadmap and demands in order to drive continuous improvement;
  • Ensure that existing payment and shopping solutions are the best for TAP
  • Maintain an understanding of key industry technical trends;
  • Scope and estimate technical innovations that can aid and improve TAPs Distribution Strategy.


  1. Technical Communications
  • Execute a technical NDC multi-channel communications strategy;
  • Work internally and externally in order to understand the needs of the consumer in how important information is communicated.


Relationships & Key contacts

  • Aggregators and GDS’;
  • Internal Stakeholders: IT, Sales, Revenue Management
  • NDC Technical Supplier;
  • 3rd party distributors (Travel Agencies, TMCs and MSEs);
  • BSP and Accounting.

  • Successfully hitting implementation and resolution deadlines despite many external and stakeholders;
  • Coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders;
  • Analyzing relevant data to prioritize future enhancements in the product.



  • Relevant experience in aviation, distribution system, GDS & NDC.




  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations based on data and analysis
  • Ability to build strong internal partnerships and work across the organization (IT, Revenue & Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales etc.)
  • Confident in communicating complex messages to various audiences
  • Project management and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to use organizational skills to prioritise and multi-task
  • Accountability and ownership of area of responsibility
  • Collaborative team player
