MISSION

Oversee the Customer Service/Airport Operations and set the standard for customer experience. Responsible for the operational performance of the station while achieving or exceeding the established performance measurements.

 

KEY DUTIES

The Station Supervisor assists the Station or Regional Manager in managing the stations the latter is responsible for, in all levels of responsibility, ensuring compliance with the established services levels, safety and security of the operation, and quality of the service provided to the Customer.

Assignments:

  • Ensuring supervision of the TAP Air Portugal operation, guaranteeing its punctuality,
  • Safety and security, and high quality regarding the service provided to the Customer;
  •  Coordinating all services involved in the operation, regarding both passengers and the aircraft, guaranteeing their flow and articulation, as well as compliance with TAP Air Portugal Safety and Security rules, processes and procedures;
  •  Coordinate, control and audit the contracted services, with special focus on the turnaround process, according to defined SLAs:
  • Anticipating and solving eventual constraints / irregularities in TAP’s operation an reporting them to the Station or Regional Manager;
  • Supporting the Station or Regional Manager in all managerial aspects of the station(s), both in the operational and in the administrative strand (cost control and budgeting);
  • Representing the Station Manager and/or replacing him/her in his/her absence or when s/he so requests;
  • Ensure Operations team readiness for response to significant non-routine operations and emergency events.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 12th grade or equivalent, or proven experience (Operational Background with a minimum of 3 years’ experience)
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written). Exceptionally, another language can be validated, depending on the country where he/she is going to perform the work;
  • Problem-solving capacity and good administrative skills;
  • High levels of motivation;
  • Strong orientation towards the fulfilment of objectives, capacity to analyse, assess and implement processes and procedures; great availability to work under pressure;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft and computer skills.

 

PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Training in operations;
  • Training in Leadership;
  • Portuguese spoken & written.
